The new Neil Landstrumm and Bill Youngman EP on Feinwerk Records entitled "Who Stole Bill's Jacket" is about to become available to all of us. Syntax Error has in his posession the test pressings and expects the final release as early as three weeks from now.
More info is known about the EP as well now. The last time I mentioned it there was uncertainty about the name of the EP as well as the track titles. It's all been cleared up now so I'll post them again with the correct titles and info.

Check out Feinwerk Records website frequently as Christian and company have some big plans for the next few releases. I only wish I could share! Ah well, you'll all hear soon enough. Feinwerk!
I probably should have mentioned it yesterday but my brain was on holiday. Marcin Czubala also has a split ep on Lasergun Records due soon. Split you say? Yeah, it's with Richard Bartz. now I've heard the last few Richard Bartz ep's and I'm not sure if I like this idea. I'm hoping for each of them to simply supply tracks. A collabarative effort would probably frighten me. Tracklist looks like it's each man for themself but who knows.
Richard Bartz vs. Marcin Czubala ep
A1 Richard Bartz
B1 Marcin Czubala (Metope rmx)
Lasergun rec. (cat.no. 40)
Marcin Czubala who seemed to have gone into hiding for a while has now seemingly increased his activity. I've already mentioned the first Carabinieri Ep "All Nippon" and it should be out soon -- if not already. The one I haven't mentioned that I just found out about is Carabinieri #2, the "Untold" Ep. There are soundclips for both on Deejay.de if you want to hear what these badboys sound like.
I've uploaded two more Neil Landstrumm Dj Sets from my archives. As usual for his Dj Sets I was able to ID most of the tracks for a tracklist. I only had time to sit through one of the sets, but I hope to tackle the other before this weekend is over.
While you're downloading these, or even while you're listening to them, head on over to Neil's page and browse around. He has some tracks and sets to grab as well.

Here's the schedule for the next month. Wes, the man in charge, has added a couple new names to the line-up. The basic premise behind the night is still House, Detroit, Electro and other fun and bumpy things. I think you'll catch just about everything and anything really. As long as it has a bit of Unf.
Here is a previous night's recording for those who like to sample.
February 25th - Chase + Wes Thomas
March 4th - Reece + MA + Geoff
March 11th - Dave Cooper + Derek Parsons
March 18th - Trevor Wilkes + Frankie Gunns
Cannibal Cooking Club posted up some new charts on their site and I have a reader submitted chart as well for your persual.
So just this minute the 25th show in Bleep Radio's reincarnation finished. It was a fun and eclectic mix from peter Mangalore of Human Shield Recordings. It starts off with a bit of acid and bleepy old tracky stuff in a detroit manner then launches into the tasty electro you'd expect from Pete. Assuming of course you knew him well enough to assume anything. I'll leave that for you all to decide.
The creators of Jam on It are back!
I don't often make it to Poland so I don't know very much about this young chap other than what I've dug up online. I've listened to some of the little audio he has available though and I like it. It may not be the best new thing (they can't all be!) but it's definitely something that would get me off my duff long enough to dance.
"Verthex Scratch is young techno producer bassed in Poznan , Poland. His first production was made in 1998 on his PC Pentium 200 MHz. His style was changing thru the years from experymental and noise to more dance electronic such as nu school techno and electro."...read more
I'm glad people record these sets. I'm even more glad I have the space on my server to help spread them around like warm butter.
Frankie is quite the trouble maker...but when it all results in three excellent mixes I'm willing to look the other way.
I wont bother being a nerd and saying something dumb for this one. I'll let Neil do the talking...
"This is an unofficial remix of the title track from the classic Happy Mondays 1989 Madchester E.P. I am a big Mondays fan and credit them with bringing me into the blossoming UK rave scene when I saw them live at the SECC in Glasgow in 1990. It was a heady mix of early rave, acid, bleep and the mondays own blend of northern funk. Like proper raves used to be....double good."
The track can be found in Neil's Download Database: Here
Jerome Hill has tossed some new mixes up online...Definite sit at home and bounce your leg audio enjoyment here.
Spewis had a track out on Noodles Discotheque (Si Begg's label) a few years back and has since then (I'm assuming) been busy at home working on new stuff. Well whether that's what he has been doing or not, he has some new stuff available on his webpage. Two new tracks at the moment plus the Noodles track, all for download, all for free. So grab a listen and send him an email letting him know what you think. I'm pretty sure he would appreciate that.
This was recorded at a local (Toronto) Techno night; 'Tech Support'.
It looks mighty scrumptious!
No new site updates to speak of since the last one back in November...but I spotted a live set link so here it is.
This Saturday just past was another one of the "Dizzy Funk" nights I play at. Yeah yeah yeah it aint techno but it's fun, good, old disco, house and acid. This set is a 2 hour snapshot of the four residents playing back to back (to back to back).
Ollie Barkovic + Reece + Derek Parsons + Trevor Wilkes = This Set
The next record slated for release on Cristian Vogel's newest label is sure to be dirty slummy beats if Tarrida is partly responsible. Wicked.
I've finally finished off the Message Board entry convertor.
I hate regex and this did not improve my relationship with it.
It works for the most part. If you click the Message Board link below an entry it will pop up a window and give you the text to copy and paste into a message board, hopefully in it's entirety! I know a lot of traffci for my site is message board link postings and such so I figured I'd go with the flow and make it easier for anyone to do this. In return I HOPE that people post the whole article so that the site and the articles subject benefits from it a bit.
There will be a few bugs like URLs containing characters that should be converted to hex for them to work right but bear with me I have lots of stuff to do here I can only knock one item off the list ata time. If you send me emails pestering me about it it'll probably get done faster though.
At this moment in time, this place in space, not a lot is known for sure about this EP. By myself, by Christian, by Neil and Bill, and by default everyone else. But (!) I can pass on the track samples, which is good enough to keep me yearning for the goods.
Neil Solo
Bill Solo

As you can see they've each done a solo track for the EP as well as collaborate on two. Both the solo tracks are what's got my head nodding at a break-neck pace but it's all great. Track titles and label art coming soon I'd imagine.
Philip Ryan, a past Bleep Radio guest has a new mix available. I can't even begin to say anything about this mix. Chock full of good tunes.
You know the drill. sort of...

Following the lead of Neil landstrumm and Djax, as well as others I'm sure. Justin Berkovi has put a photo archive up on his site.
/www.justinberkovi.com > Archive
Like the others it has a bit of a talk through for each photo and is a good way to blow an hour or two if you're looking for old dorky looking photos of the wonk wimps. Nice little bit of history!
Also, in the "Live" section of Justin's site you can grab a set of his and watch some video too.

I broke my site..sorry for the 27 hours of down time. It's good to go now.
The super-alert members of my audience might have noticed the new link below each article....pay attention to that. I believe I came up with an original site idea that'll be super usefull for anyone wanting to repost sets and or news to Message Boards...!
I've decided to start doing a 'Top Ten' thing. Maybe even a recurring list, monthly maybe? Who knows? This is the result of boredom mostly. Boredom mixed with a bit curiosity...Should I have a neat little section for everyone to submit a top ten to? leave me a comment letting me know what you think...or send me an e-mail with your thoughts or your top ten.
We all know my aspirations are to take over the world. And if we didn't, we certainly do now.
The Fun in the Murky web team has expanded to include Edit, Jerome Hill, Shed Records, Bernard's Haircut and Gerald Moore (The person responisible for the excellent Sugar Experiment Station Live Video). Within a reasonable amount of time I'm sure they'll all have their new webpages full of content and audio ready for perusal, until then, enjoy these Jerome Hill and Edit Sets at their new home.

Thanks to my mother for squirting me out, me growing up, hitting puberty, getting the internet etc...I've come across a new mix from Holger...No Tracklist but I recognize all the new Neil Landstrumm's tucked in as well as the antikonsum's and other related nuts and bolts. Very good listen, I've been playing it while peeling the stickers off of my new measuring cup and I've not wanted to kill myself yet!
Alright, so here's the deal. I now have a mailing list. Well...an "Announcement List" is what this sort is called I guess. I don't reckon I know exactly what it's going to be used for just yet. But why should that stop me from at least starting it up?
Until I have a solid plan for it's use I'll only send out messages on it when I have some little bit of news that is like totally out there.
If I find out that under the right circumstances 2 + 4 does NOT equal 6 I would not send an email to the list.
If I put like 8 hours of new audio on my server in one big uploading frenzy, fueled by large amounts of coffee...I would probably send out a message.
So you see I'll be fair and I wont do anything dumb like share your addresses so feel free to plug in the info and hit the big button that says "Subscribe".
....There's no way I could write a better description than the Boog crew...
"boogizm 12 will be a "classical" smax and fym 12". after some names we had for this record including "molukki ubu and his potato boat" we felt we should really try and emphasize the seriousness of our musical approach this time: "get on/off crazy" will be available in february 2006 ...
merry merry!"
Merry Merry!

I don't know who this random stranger on the internet is. From the looks of his tracklist he's my twin brother....although probably much more fetching.
Lief Ryan's Growth Recordings is planning a various artist release it appears. I only mention it because, well...Lief gave me a back rub. No, not at all! With Dave Tarrida, Cynthia Stern, Tobias Schmidt and Lief Ryan all appearing on the same slab of wax together it's bound to have some seriously unserious delights.
Couple that with a repress of Growth 1which was Cynthia and Lief together and you've got some roller-skate pop-lockin ahead of you.
