Carl Taylor started off with a remix of a Laurent Garnier track. Which you have to admit is a pretty good start -- whether you like LG or not. Since that release back in 2000 he's been steadily plugging away and has accumulated a small handful of records with his name on them.
Ever the friendly chap, Carl has opened the doors on three of his tracks for anyone and everyone to remix. "Twister", "Bang The Box" and "Voyager" all appear on either Ade Fenton's "Advanced" label or F1 Recordings.
Each zip file contains all of the audio files needed to reproduce the originals. The silence at the beginning of some of the parts is so that you can line the files up and everything will be sequenced like the original.

This is not a competition and there is no prize but I will host some of the RMX's on here after you have uploaded them and although im thinking there is no hurry to do this, at the same time I guess I should set some sort of limit for inclusion on the site. Since it's the last day of June how about we say that you all have 2 months to finish up what you have and submit it. So the deadline is September 1st 2006.
To upload your finished tracks simply visit The Uploader page. It's self-explanatory in it's use. Just make sure you fill out the ID Tags of the Mp3 or OGG file with your contact information or send carl or I an e-mail letting us know which track is yours.
Feel free to make this little remix project known. Tell your friends, post it on message boards (use the message board convertor link below- it's handy!) or send out e-mails. Heck send post-cards we don't care!

I don't know why, so don't ask me, but Toronto and surrounding areas seem to spawn Techno fanatics. All those guys and girls you see at Techno events either front and center yelling their heads off or tucked in the back doing a double fist pump with an expression of pure joy on their face, well, I think they all come from Toronto.
