Lx7.ca #20 - Toronto music scene history show

October 20, 2006

Verg has put his newest Podcast online. It's a goodie. He had Dr. Trance over to talk about very early Toronto electronic music scene (think 1991 and forward).

This is probably my favorite show of Verg's so far. I wasn't around that far back...in 1991 I was only 13. but the memories of old parties are most welcome!

n this episode: Don Berns (aka Dr. Trance) and I review some of the tracks, and stories on what started the Toronto rave scene. We recall those early events which kicked off the whole electronic music experience here in Toronto. Have you heard the track "James Brown is Dead"? Ever wonder where the Toronto rave scene started? Drop in, hang out, as we spend some time talking about "the beginning".
