Here's another of my 'Influences' posts. I believe this is my third one, with each of them relating to Chicago in some way. Can you tell my early tastes were formed by Chicago house and Techno? Yeah, thought so.
I've really only heard two people play this record -- that I can recall. We all know about the A1 (Eye Trip) from Richie Hawtin's Mixmag CD. Which we all also know is a fantastic CD. Trackwise anyway. The only other person I've heard play this record is Neil Landstrumm. The tracks A2 (Breakdown) and B2 (Black Widow) being the ones he seemed to dig. I think it was his last Toronto appearance at an F.T.W.K. party I got to hear them.
That makes it 5-6 years (at least) since I've heard this played out by someone else. It's too good a record to die out so let's refresh our memories or aid a discovery and give Akilah Bryant -- and Co-Produced by Dj Skull -- kudos for a great record.
