Unfortunately this is another digital only release that I for one wish weren't. It's the climate we're in I guess. Either we do something about it or shut up ;)
These tracks of Luke's seem --to me anyway-- to stand out a bit from the rest of what he's released so far. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they do seem to have a certain amount of sparsity to them. A little more air between sounds I guess. Not necessarily 'minimal', but something less full. Take a gander and see if I'm imagining things.

I'm feelin' it.
The spacier sound might be because it seems like more of the focus of each track is on the percussion, without the dominating basslines like the tracks on Funk Of The Rural Neverness. That's what it seems like to me...
I especially like B2... it's got that older Scan-7-ish style, where it's simple on the surface, but somehow really funky.
