about a week ago I mentioned that Sueme has a Neue Heimat coming out. At that time I had next to no information. Fortunately for me, you and whoever I missed I now have the complete info-pack.
I wont post the basics again, but here's what I was lacking the first time around....
"After a couple of well-received releases on Neue Heimat as Subhead with his musical partner-in-crime Jason Leach, Sueme (aka Phil Subhead) takes the reins on his own to present a deranged four tracker of twisted breaks and techno. Seemingly laying low recently after a slow but steady series of releases on his own Dot Com label, this is a welcome return from the mentalist baldie. As always a bewildering array of influences are thrown into the mix, from the rave-funk of 'Nakano nights' to the disco stabs and Chic-style bass of 'Jazzy Jeff' - all of course underpinned by his trademark lop-sided drum programming and parping bass. There is also a refreshing humour to these tracks that is sadly missing from much contemporary dance music, maybe this will herald a resurgence of smiling on the dancefloor after all the recent blank-faced 'where have my legs gone' Ketamine nonsense!!!"
A1 - Nakano nights
A2 - Jazzy Jeff
B1 - C'est comme ca
B2 - Banana love
Neue Heimat is distributed by Humpty-Stuttgart, but I got the info from the boys at Veto
