You are currently in the /mt/ arena of the Fun in the Murky server. While this area certainly does have a large amount of content it is the archive section of FitM. For current and still updated items please aim your browser to http://www.fun-in-the-murky.com. The root domain name will forward you to the current version of the site when it's ready and active. Current estimate for this is Nov. 15th.

Recently in Record Order Category

The good records seem to be coming out and coming out more often than in the previous few months of slowness. This most recent haul, while not the biggest, by any of my standards, is a welcome sized package. I love when these things arrive!

You are reading the date correct. I know how long ago that was. I actually recieved this package while Malcolm Strachan was at my place recording bleep Radio 222 with me. Amidst the recording, there was a knock at the door!

Always lights up my face to know the post-man has a special something for me.

I've got a whole bunch of stuff to post, but I thought I'd start today with the two record orders that have arrived on my door-step recently. One of them today and the other about two weeks ago, but only today did I have a chance to toss them on and give an initial listen.

After several weeks of impatient waiting a small order arrived while I was sleeping the day away.

The order that arrived in the ol' mailbox today is from Juno. It's just a wee little thing of only four records. I don't typically make large orders from Juno, but I do use them once in a while to fill in the gaps.

This is something I already do to a certain degree on a local message board. We all post up what our record orders are or were for the other local guys and gals to sort through and maybe find something they themselves enjoy. I'm going to try and start putting my own list up on Fun in the Murky for now on as well. I'm surprised I've not done it sooner to tell the truth.

Feel free to add your own recent purchases in the comment section.

When we post these lists on the local board we just stick to the basics, but for the FitM posts I'll flesh it out a bit more and tell you where I got the records and give you a discogs link as well. Enjoy!
