Hello All!

I’ve been broadcasting “Bleep Radio” on the Internet since 2003. Originally on www.livesets.com and then solo with the advent of Mixlr. those of you who have tuned in live or downloaded the many archived shows over the years know that I enjoy doing this and look forward to the live-shows.

With that in mind I’ve put something together for you. It’s really live. It’s really a show.

It’ll be fun.

I’ve reached out to quite a few friends to assist with this in various ways and hope it works out.

I don’t believe any of the people below need an introduction, but we’ll go through it all anyway. For those who may be new or still learning.

All Sets will be performed live and not pre-recorded. Paul and Joe will be teleporting their sets in from around the globe via the Internet and I will be broadcasting from Fun in the Murky headquarters. Our goal is to make this a Saturday night in, but make it feel like a Saturday night out for you.

8pm – 12am GMT
Set times to be determined and announced closer to time of performance.

Paul and Joe have very kindly not asked for anything in return for providing their music for this event. However I will be “surprising them” with something. If anyone would like to augment my surprise with a paypal donation (think in terms of a $1-$5 virtual ticket) I’m sure they would appreciate the support. ABSOLUTELY ALL donations will go to Paul and Joe evenly. It is not for me.

Paypal email: bleep@isoprax.com

Or during the stream itself there will be the possibility of using Streamtip for doing pretty much the same. These donations are at your discretion, are not required, and I/we do not frown upon anyone for not donating. You will still get the same music and hopefully have the same fun.

Lastly, I asked you all spread the word far and wide. Lets make this one a good one and have some fun.

Hello All,

I don’t update here often as most of you know. This is more of an archive and after-thought these days. However I have something that is quit special to mention and the more known of it is the better. For that to happen, I have to actually do something about it. Hence… write it down and publish the damn words.

I’ve been firing off Bleeps into the ether for roughly 11 years now. That’s how long I’ve been doing the live Internet broadcasts under the Bleep Radio banner. There have been a hell of a lot more than 300 Bleep Radio broadcasts, but I’ve only actually labeled so many of them with an episode number. A part of that is to make the live streams something to tune into. If every single live-stream is archived then there is less of a reason to tune into the the live-stream. Aside from the usually entertaining and off the wall chat of course. So yes, there have probably been over a thousand Bleep Radio streams over the years, but we’re only getting near the 300th archived Bleep Radio. The milestone is somewhat arbitrary I guess. And I don’t really have a strong history of giving a shit about milestones. So what’s different? My mood I guess.

Those of you who know me, know I don’t bother putting thought into the things that strike me. If an idea occurs to me I do it. I don’t bother then pondering why. I just get busy figuring out how. And what.

Here’s the what.

Bleep Radio #300
Saturday November 22, 2014 @ 8pm GMT

Live Sets from:
Paul Birken,
JoeFarr

Dj Sets from:
Trevor Wilkes,
+1 TBC

The idea behind this is as follows. Paul and Joe will both be performing from home. They’ll both be connected to me and we’ll be bouncing the audio via myself to my Mixlr account for all your enjoyment. Myself and the other guest TBC will be playing from my house to the same effect. All you folks have to do is what you usually have to do for a regular Bleep Radio. Tune in to Mixlr.com/isoprax. The difference is the day and time. It’s a Saturday night/afternoon depending on where you are.

On Sunday December 9th, AKA “World Techno Day” there will be a live audio and video stream from Fun in the Murky HQ by myself (Trevor Wilkes).

Starting at 1pm EST (-5 UTC – 6pm UK Time) and running for no preset amount of time it will be all pulled from the bag I played out with the night before at the local EvilRobo party “Biomechanical Telepathy”.

Audio and Chat @ the usual location: http://mixlr.com/isoprax/chat
Video stream @ http://youtube.com/isoprax

The video stream has room for others to join in. Hit up the Mixlr chat and if you’ve got a webcam just request to be added to the video stream.

Expect oddball wonked out jack-tracks and nipple tweakers as usual. If you feel as if anyone you know may be interested, please share the event or at least point them in the direction of the Bleep Radio Fb Page.

The next episode of Bleep Radio is due to be streamed (and then archived of course) on Thursday Nov. 22 @ 4pm EST / 9pm UTC. It will be streamed via MIXLR as usual so stop by and listen as a guest or create an account and get in on the action.

On June 16th, 2012 a new monthly smattering of sounds is going to kick-off in a brand new venue. From the pinball machines at the front door, to the board games at the tables, to the Butter Chicken wings, it’s a solid place. I won’t even bother mentioning its size and sound. Both are beyond adequate.

Location: 3030 Dundas West, Toronto ON (High Park area)
Audio: Techno, House, Electro, Etc… (Focusing on what is good and not what is currently top-o-the-pops)

Mr. and Mrs. Anything is being run by a couple who enjoy music. They have brought a few other people into the fold to lend assistance. All involved are of the same mind and do not wish to submit anyone in attendance to what they can hear anywhere and everywhere else on any given night.

If you’re in or around Toronto, come out on the 16th of June. We’ll sip Ginger Ale together before I play tunes for all.
